Our Goals for 2011
Many of you may have heard about the increase in fabric prices due to the poor cotton crops worldwide. Besides the price increases earlier this year, we have again received notice that fabric & batting prices will go up 7-15%. We (Janet & Jackie) have decided not to pass much of these price increases on to our customers at this time. We will do our best to keep the price of our regular cotton fabrics under $10/yard, and price increases on our flannels & wide goods will be maintained as low as we can for as long as possible. With the New Year, we are also making a few changes in our Sales Promotions: Starting in December, we have included a Coupon Flier in Customer bags to be used on their next visit during the month. Coupons include “30% off 1 cut Fabric, Extra 5% off any 1 item, Floss specials, Notions specials, etc.” We will offer different Coupon Fliers each month. Our 3rd Saturday Sales will offer 20% off Fabric, Notions, Books, & Patterns (instead of the 25% we have been doing). We will still have Daily Discounts, Double Date Discounts, and other promotions throughout the year. We would like to thank all of our customers for helping make 2010 a Great Year for us!
